    North BurLINKton’s line-up of summer activities :

    Chill Zone – three neighbourhood locations with great programming at no cost. But you need to register to save your space!

    North BurLINKton Teens (NBT) – sports and arts events plus a weekly drop-in. All programming is provided at no cost. More information here

    Dinner Night Out – always tasty and always the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 6-8 pm! You’ll find us at Glad Tidings Church

    Farm Fresh Markets – The first Wednesday of the month at Dinner Night Out (1401 Guelph Line). All produce local and at wholesale prices

    Single Moms@Tansley  – the second Tuesday of the month 5;50 to 8:30 pm, moms and their children enjoy a dinner followed by a speaker and activities. The gathering is at Tansley United Church

    55+ Zoomer Days! – July 29th (Tech meet up – learn to use your electronic devices!!) and August 19th at Calvary Baptist Church (Lunch in the park)

  • NBT Drop-in is Officially Open

    The new drop in space at Bill Shackleton had its official unveiling last night. On hand were many community supporters who have walked the journey with our group of teens to realize the dream of opening a drop-in space. The North BurLINKton Teen want to thank:

    The North BurLINKton Teen Project is focused on youth leadership development and the creation of space, youth friendly spaces that create a sense of belonging. The drop-in features, board games, video games, a ping pong table, and Foosball table and snacks! Check out the North BurLINKton Teens Page for dates and time for the drop-in as well as our regular sports, arts and life hack events.

  • NBT Drop-in Grand Opening

    The North BurLINKton Teen (NBT) Project, a Youth Opportunities Funded initiative is pleased to announce that they haev partnered with Van Norman Homes at Bill Shackleton Place to secure a drop-in space for local teens. The NBT Leadership Team is hosting a grand opening event to show people the space and share their story about working together alongside of community partners to make a difference in their neighbourhoods.

    The event will include short speeches, food and a chance to try out some of the drop-in space activities.
