North BurLINKton Teens (NBT)

North BurLINKton Youth activities and opportunities include the following:

  • Sports Nights – typically a game against Burlington officers from the Halton Regional Police Services
    • the activities move to different locations
    • the events are all free and snacks are provided
  • Lots of volunteer opportunities in North BurLINKton activities such as Dinner Night Out and Chill Zone.
    • this is a great way to get your volunteer hours done close to home in your own community
  • Leadership Team 
    • We are looking for youth who
      • want to develop their leadership skills,
      • are interested in being active and/or the arts,
      • have ideas about how to make their community more youth friendly,
      • who want to help create spaces in community for youth to feel safe, welcomed, supported and have FUN!
    • This youth-led project will include community activities, training opportunities and hours contributed will count towards your high school volunteer hour requirement.

Sports Nights:

Thursday March 23 – LACROSSE at Glad Tidings Church Gym-  7-8:30pm

The Burlington Minor Lacrosse association will be bringing the balls and sticks and teaching teens and the HRPS officers how to play Canada’s Official Summer Sport. If you have a hockey helmet please bring it along.

Drop-ins

The first and third Monday of the Monday at NBT Drop-in Space at Bill Shackleton Place, 1380 Guelph Line (around the back on the south side of the building), 7 to 9 pm – FREE

  • Foosball, ping pong, video games, board games and snack

On the first Monday of the Month come early to drop-in to cook together. Two of our trained  “You’re the Chef” teens will lead the group to cook and eat dinner together.

Join us at North Burlington Baptist Church – on the lower level for our Monday after school drop-in starting at 4 pm till 6 pm. We will be hanging out and making and eating super together! Free!
